Hello and welcome!

Here you will find all of the information about our Summer CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) subscription. A CSA is a relationship between farmers and its community. They are a wonderful way to help support a local small business and have a relationship with your farmers. When you sign up for the Clarkston Farm CSA, you're paying in advance for some of the freshest vegetables picked daily. Your cost also helps the farm with purchasing seeds, amendments, supplies, and payroll before the season starts. You are also taking on part of the risk of planting, growing and tending to crops without having to do anything. 

Enrolling in a CSA gives you the push you need to try new vegetables and cook more often. Each week your box will contain 6-10 items, enough for 1-4 people depending on how often you eat vegetables. With your subscription, you will also receive newsletters, pictures, farm updates, and recipes. At your pickup location, a farmer will be available to answer any questions you may have and we will help you work through your box. When picking up, we also offer you the option to swap out items if there's something that you do not like. You may add items and pay for them at the market or at the farm stand as well. 

CSA OPTIONS

Full Summer Share 

• A full share is an assortment of 6-10 items weekly. You get a box every week for 15 weeks. We will be skipping the week of 4th of July.

• The cost of a full CSA share is $500.

• The amount of available subscriptions are limited.

• Full Shares can be acquired as soon as March 10th. You may pay $250 to reserve your spot.

• The remaining $250 must be paid by May 15.

• You will receive your first box June 13th.

Half Summer Share

• A half share is an assortment of 6-10 items every other week for 15 weeks. We will be skipping the week of 4th of July.

• The cost of a half share is $285 up front.

• The amount of available subscriptions are limited.

• Half Shares can be acquired as soon as March 10th.

• You will receive your first box June 13th.

Where do I pick up my box?

• Thursdays 

• 7AM - 1PM at Oakland County Farmers Market

• 4PM- 6PM at Clarkston Farm

• Saturdays

• 7AM - 12PM at Oakland County Farmers Market. Limited availability for full shares only

Thanksgiving Holiday

• This is a 3 week csa

• Dates are November 9, 16, 23

• The cost is $100 paid in full

• Pick up at Oakland County farmer market Saturdays 7-1

Christmas Hoilday

• This is a 3 week csa

• Dates are December 7, 14, 21

• The cost is $100 paid in full

• Pick up is at Oakland County Farmers Market Sat 8am - 9 am and at the farm 10:30am- 11:30a

How do I pay for my share?

• We ask that you use a Personal Check or a Bank Check

• No Credit Cards please

• No refunds

What if I do not like an item in this weeks box?

• When you get to your pick up location you may trade it out

What if I can't get to my pick up location or forget?

• You may switch locations, we ask you to keep this to a minimum. 

• If you forget, as long as you let us know we will hold it for the next pick up time.

• If you forget and we do not hear from you, your box will be donated.
